Multi-Site Operation

Atrium is designed for organizations with multiple locations. Each site operates independently (its own visitors, kiosks, documents, network settings), while all sites are managed centrally within one tenant.

Site switching

Users with access to multiple sites see a site selector in the sidebar. Clicking it shows a dropdown of all assigned sites. Selecting a site switches the dashboard, visitor list, and all site-scoped views to that location.

The currently selected site is persisted in the browser — when you return to Atrium, you're in the same site context you left.

What's site-scoped

Almost everything in Atrium is scoped to a site:

DataScoping
VisitsPer site. A visit is always at exactly one site.
KiosksPer site. A kiosk is paired to one site.
Document assignmentsPer site. Different sites can require different documents.
Agent connectionsPer site. Each site has its own agent (if WiFi integration is used).
WiFi vouchersPer site. Vouchers are scoped to the site's agent.

What's tenant-wide

Some data spans all sites:

DataScoping
Visitor profilesTenant-wide. A visitor's profile is shared across sites — no duplicate records.
Document templatesTenant-wide (created centrally), assigned per site.
User accountsTenant-wide. Users exist at the tenant level and are assigned to sites.
Tenant settingsTenant-wide (IdP config, tenant name, etc.).

Cross-site scenarios

A visitor visiting multiple sites: The visitor has one profile. When they visit your Munich office and later your Berlin office, both visits are linked to the same visitor profile. Document signatures carry over — if they signed the current NDA version in Munich, they won't be asked to sign it again in Berlin (assuming both sites use the same template).

An admin managing multiple sites: Tenant-Admins see all sites. Site-Admins assigned to multiple sites can switch between them. Each site is viewed and managed independently — there is no aggregate "all sites" dashboard view.

Different documents per site: You can assign different document templates to different sites. Your factory might require a safety briefing that your office doesn't need. Template creation is centralized (any Tenant-Admin or Site-Admin can create templates), but assignment is per site.
