Dashboard
The dashboard is the central screen in Atrium. It shows all visits for the currently selected site, grouped by status, with real-time statistics.
Layout
The dashboard consists of two main areas:
Stat cards at the top show four counters for the current day:
- On Site — Visitors currently checked in.
- Expected — Visits scheduled for today that haven't checked in yet.
- Checked Out — Visitors who have completed their visit today.
- Total Today — Sum of all visits for today.
Visit list below the stat cards shows individual visits with their details: visitor name, company, host, expected arrival/departure, and current status.
Tabs
The visit list is filtered by four tabs:
| Tab | Shows |
|---|---|
| All | Every visit for today, regardless of status. |
| On Site | Only visitors currently checked in (green "On Site" badge). |
| Expected | Visits scheduled but not yet checked in (blue "Expected" badge). |
| Completed | Visits that are checked out or expired (gray "Left" badge). |
Each visit row shows a status badge and an actions menu (⋯) with the available operations for that visit's current state.
Available actions
The actions menu on each visit row adapts to the visit's status:
| Visit status | Available actions |
|---|---|
| Pre-registered (Expected) | Check In, Cancel |
| Checked In (On Site) | Check Out |
| Checked Out / Expired | — (no actions) |
| Cancelled | — (no actions) |
Site selector
If your tenant has multiple sites and your account has access to more than one, the site selector in the sidebar lets you switch between sites. The dashboard always shows visits for the currently selected site.
Tenant-Admins can see all sites. Site-Admins and Members see only their assigned sites.
Real-time updates
The dashboard updates automatically. When a visitor checks in via a kiosk at the same site, the visit moves from the Expected tab to the On Site tab without requiring a page refresh.
Using the dashboard as an evacuation list
The On Site tab serves as a real-time evacuation list — it shows every person currently checked in at the site. In an emergency, this list tells you who is in the building.
For this to be accurate, visitors must check out when they leave. Automatic expiry (based on the expected departure time) provides a fallback, but manual check-out gives a more precise picture.
